U.S. stocks traded mostly lower Wednesday as the Dow Jones Industrial Average recently lost 33 points to 11375 and the Nasdaq Composite fell 6.3 points to 1196 but the Standard & Poor's 500 added 9.5 points to 2600. Among the companies whose shares are actively trading in the session are Oracle Corp. (ORCL), Adobe Systems Inc. (ADBE) and Bank of America Corp. (BAC).

Oracle's ($30.78, +$2.43, +8.57%) first-quarter profit climbed 36% as strong sales in its core software business eased concerns that the uncertain economy would stop businesses from spending on technology.
